Lithuanian composer Mindaugas Piecaitis was inspired by Nora the Piano Playing Cat and composed a concerto for her to perform with an orchestra. Nora appears via videotape. The rest of the music was performed by the Klaipeda Chamber Orchestra. This performance, conducted by Piecaitis, was recorded on June 5th in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
I don’t know what is better the fact that a serious composer wrote a symphony for a cat, or that the cat will never know.
