The White House posted this video of President Obama in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, meeting 107-year-old Frances Asher on Tuesday. Asher tells him that even if his breath is stinky, “I’d kiss you every evening.”

John Boehner – Constitutional Law Genius (Note the Sarcasm)

Glenn Thrush Reports:

House Minority Leader John Boehner was fired up and ready to go at the Tea Party rally today.

He even held up his pocket copy of the Constitution, pledging to “stand here with our Founding Fathers, who wrote in the pre-amble: ‘We hold these truths to be self evident …”

Oops.

That would be the pre-amble to the Declaration of Independence that he’s reading.

Uh yeah.  What I would like to know is if his fellow Tea Party buddies (Michelle Bachmann in particular) even know if he is committing a flub.  Is it a perfectly understandable mix up?  Shouldn’t somebody that high up know the difference?  I know I noticed and I am a lowly pop culture blogger.
